Freezing Cakes

What is the best way about freezing boxed cakes? And...the best way to go about thawing them....how long before icing, etc. Please help...I have 6 cakes to do 2 weeks from now!! icon_confused.gif lol

What do you mean by boxed cakes?? Wrap the un-iced layers in plastic wrap and freeze. Leave wrapped to thaw. Ice when it is completely thawed.
