Sour Cream For Buttermilk?? Help!!!!!

Help!!! First of all I just burned the icon_mad.gif out of my hand, now I am a cup short of buttermilk and my little one just fell asleep!!!!! Can I sub in a cup of sourcream for this? I have read the vingear and yogurt, but sour cream? I think it should be fine - right?!?

I sub milk+vinegar for buttermilk

Place 1 tblsp of vinegar in measuring cup and add enough milk to make 1 cup and let sit 5 mins! Great sub for buttermilk!

Will white wine vinegar work? What about 1 tablespoon per 1 cup of milk? Sit for 10 minutes - right?

You're welcome! I actually prefer using the sour milk instead of buttermilk!
