Does anyone know how much gumtex to add per batch of MMF? Do you only add gumtex to MMF that will be used for molding, cutouts, etc., or do you add gumtex to to the MMF that is being used to cover the cake too? Thanks!

I haven't done this yet, but I read a post recently where they said to just roll each piece of MMF in the gumtex as you work with it.

I made a full (2 pounds of icing sugar) batch, and I added 2 teaspoons of GumTex to it. I think it's 1 teaspoon for every 24 oz of finished fondant.

There are previous posts on here...maybe someone else could pop in with their hints, and/or you could do a search for Gumtex in the forums. I know that you will get a lot of help here, because everyone is so great! icon_biggrin.gif

Good luck
