than a addict!!! Just last night my son asked, "so what are you"... when he saw the designations by the avatar and he gasped when I told him I was an addict... i didn't tell him I'm about ready to be "promoted"! EEK!!!
Now, I've only made as many cakes as are in my photos (and some of those are from BEFORE I started taking classes and came here - OK, I forgot to take photos of a couple of things)... so I sure do talk a lot more than I bake! LOL

Not to many posts for me I am a lurker. My husband calls it cake porn. Such a nice guy to be so wrong.... not cake porn but a true addiction.

Oh, we are not that bad. Here I am only been on here for 8 months and look where I'm at!! My husband thinks it's hilarious! LOL
But, I have only been decorating for a year and a half and I know like 5 times more stuff than my mom does now!!! Everyone on here is soo great and if I have a problem with a cake I know how to fix it cause I have soaked up all this knowledge like a sponge! I think it's great being an addict, I can't wait! And when I get to where Doug and others are at I would LOVE to be called a nut-job!!! LOL
Hi ya'll. No I haven't been blessed to become an addict yet, but I am WELL on my way. I have only been here for a few months and I can't get enough. I read a very lot, and use a lot of the suggestions, and tips I find here!! I was so excited when I was not listed as a newbie anymore!! I called my husband at work and had to share the minute it happened. 
Thank you all for sharing your experiences with us not so seasoned CCr's.
My husband is becoming as attached to this site as I am. We sit here and read and gather ideas together. He really laughs so hard when I share with him some of the Bridezilla stories. (he can't wait until I have to deal with one of those) I bet, he will try to post some pics of the kitchen after dealing with one.
I am learning so much from all ya'll. I can't get enough of this place. Thank goodness there is a place for us. 
Can't wait to read and learn more.

Then you have to go to the step of reconciliation with those around you, who have been affected by your addiction.
So let me be the first to start -
I am sorry that I forgot to take something out of the freezer for supper. I was researching something on CC.
I am sorry that the laundry did not get finished. I was answering some questions on CC.
I am sorry that I did not start baking that cake sooner. I was reading the new tutorial on CC.
I am sorry that I did not wash the dinner dishes. I was commenting on new pictures posted on CC.
I am sorry that I forgot to set the alarm before I went to bed last night. I was up late answering a PM about one of my cake pictures on CC.

Ok that had me laughing out loud so much that my toddler next to me started laughing too just to join in! And a ding dong is even a cake! (and since I'll never be a twinkie, a ding dong seems a better fit!) LOL

I am so sorry the dog is doing the pee-pee dance, I forgot to take him out because I was looking at some new cake pics on cc.

OMG this totally describes me. I'm new to CC and mostly a lurker who has used tons of ideas and suggestions, but my husband totally thinks it funny too that I'm on here so much. I'm working my way through and learning so much the folks on this site are so GREAT.

Berryblondboys - I know it's a cake, that's why it was the first thing that popped into my head, that's the way I think. Ü Being goofy has gotten me into trouble all my life. Not bad trouble, but well let's say my dad didn't always appreciate my humor.
