I am doing a cake for a 16 yr old. They have requested a shopping theme, but they don't want fondant, so that leaves a 3-D purse or shopping bag out. They want a 1/2 sheet so a buttercream transfer would work well. I remember seeing a cake with a girl holding shopping bags, but I can't remember where I saw it and I am drawing a blank when I try to search for something. Anyone have any ideas??

what about doing a picture of a strip mall or a macy's storefront? You could do cool pics in the windows like window shopping...?

What about using the candy mold with the shopping bag, purse, credit card and there are a few other things on it. It is a pretty big mold.

Found this, thought it might be cute for a FBCT. You may want to change the name on the bag to her favorite store! Hope it helps!
