And made the White Almond Sour Cream Cake. It's in the oven right now and my house smells soooo yummy!! I will let you all know how it turns out! Thanks for all the advice! thumbs_up.gif

My first one is in the oven right now as well. I even had enough batter left over to make a little cake for us to try. I hate giving a cake I've never tried to someone, but this recipe got so much praise I decided to go for it. I'm using the Lemon cream cheese filling with it. Can't wait to taste it! icon_smile.gif

You won't be disappointed! I made it last weekend for my mom's b-day. Everyone raved about it! I've never had anyone compliment my cakes as much as that one. My mom even thought it was made from scratch. thumbs_up.gif

It's the BEST! I made one for my sister to share with her grown kids on Mother's Day. Took it over Saturday evening and she said that by midnight, she couldn't stand waiting to try it, so she cut a
block of it out down near the bottom so her kids wouldn't notice it. After eating the first piece, she absolutely could NOT resist having another!
My neices and nephew got a kick out of itand they loved it too!

Ok here is the low down.................IT'S THE BEST CAKE EVER!!!!!! Anyone that has been thinking about trying it but hasn't yet...TRY IT!!! You won't regret it! I was the biggest skeptic of all, but now i'm kicking myself in the butt for not trying it sooner. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM it's SOOOO YUMMY!!!!!

Ohhhh and I forgot to mention that it's so good as is I didn't even get a chance to fill or ice it, we ate it as is and it was awesome! It doesn't even need anything, it is YUMMY!
