How do you make a carved cake such as a pillow and expect the filling (jam or preserves or pudding) to not leak out? Aren't you supposed to fill, freeze, carve? How do you make the dam for the filling then?
I'm having a really really really "duh" day. icon_redface.gif

Usually you dont put fillings into a carved cake, but rather just buttercream or I know some people use ganache. There might be a way to do with some carved cakes where you wont be cutting a lot of it away, but I dont know.
