I am new to cake decorating. I've noticed that when people comment you use a lot of abbreviations for various terms. For example: bc for buttercream. Sometimes I can't figure out the meanings for the abbreviations. Could someone share some of the most common abbreviations used and what they refer to? I'm sorry for sounding so ignorant, but I want to learn.

How funny. I'm new too and I just read the list and I'm feeling so slow right now. I just realized there's not a girl named TIA.

That one took me awhile, too. I guess it's just shows which of us are NOT of the text-messenging generation!
