I see some recipes that call for Pastry Pride. Can anyone tell me what that is?

from what i understand, pastry pride is a non dairy whipped topping. i think it comes in either liquid cartons that you whip yourself or ready-whipped tubs.

i believe it's very similar to rich's bettercreme.

i'm not familiar with it, though, so i might not be accurate.

Yep! Its basically just a whipped topping. It comes in a milk-carton type thing and you just whip it up. Its a lot lighter than buttercream, and doesn't crust at all. I dont use it often, but when I do, I add a little flavor to it (usually almond or lemon). I get it at Cash & Carry.

what section of the store?
can you buy it at walmart, price shopper, hyvee, apple market?

What about Rich's bettercream? Which one is better in YHO?
