I'm not sure if It's just me but it seems that my options as far as how to make my website look are very limited. It has an option to change the way your templet looks as far as colors and a few layout choices but does anyone know if there is a way on go daddy to turn off the templets? It is driving me crazy!!! TIA
You might want to check out freewebs.com. It was pretty easy (coming from a not very experience computer person) because I did mine all on my own. it's not spectacular, but decent. they had a lot of designs and such.
you can view mine with the tab below...!
thanks ladies...I think maybe I'll look into dreamweaver to build it and keep go daddy to host...I didn't know you could do that. ![]()
I use go daddy to host my site.. but I have a web designer - so I have no clue what goes into it...
I do know that they inundate me with emails... that's what drives me crazy!!
I think you might be able to opt out of the emails as I dont get any
I have it and I hate the banner at the top of the page..."Hosted free from godaddy.com".....What is this.!??!!?!?!? I had to pay for the site and it is bothering my customers when they see it..... Does anyone know how to get rid of that awful banner????
How you get rid of the banner is when you're in edit mode, it will give you the option of turning it off/deleting it... That's how I got it off my website..
I guess for me, I found their templates pretty good even though there are some things I would like to have a little more flexibility with, I'm happy with how my site is turning out thus far.
CoutureCake....I tried your suggestion and it is still on there!?!?!?! Does it take a long time for the update to show? I usually see the update within minutes not hours....I went in through the settings section of Website Tonight and Clicked on hide banner and nothing has happened? Did I do something wrong?
