What do I do with these? Early in my decorating years, when my kids were very little, I did character cakes for the birthdays and I have collected several over the years. I also inherited some of the old character cake pans from the early to mid 70's from my mother who also did character cakes for my sisters and I, but these are all the aluminum foil type of pans, but she still had the original boxes and everything that they came in. I am having a garage sale this weekend, should I just slap 50 cents on them and get rid of, or is there a place that will take these things? TIA

good lord woman, put em on ebay! Some people collect those and will pay ALOT more than 50 cents for them!!!
do a search on ebay for them and find a going price. Don't sell em short, you'd be amazed at what people will pay for some of those pans!!!

If you want to donate, Battered Women's Shelters and Crisis Centers would probably love to have them.

If you want to sell, consider Ebay, or Craigs List. Lately on Ebay most of the discontinued pans are labeled "antique" or "vintage" and sell for a decent price with hefty shipping charges.

I don't know if it's allowed on this board, I've only seen it one other time, but some fellow CC'ers may be interested in purchasing some.
