It has 83 reviews and good marks... I'm just confused. Does it have to be frozen? Do you have to use frozen cakes to ice it? And does it crust? Seems like it's an eggless meringue style, so I'm not sure...

I've tried a similar recipe, that uses 4 tbps of flour. and it tasted great. I didn't freeze the frosting or the layers. Doesn't crust and I'm not sure it's thick enough to spread. I used it as a filling for a cake and to decorate cupcakes.
