Does anyone have the directions to make a tiara out of royal icing?
Please clue me in...I need to make one for a Cake on Thursday.

I can't say it enough...every time i need help, you guys come thru! I checked out the above web site, copied one of the patterns and have made a tiara. I'll let you know if I can get it off the bowl tomorrow (keep your fingers crossed!)

Well....long story short. I made the tiara. It was fun to do. It didn't look half bad for a first try. I was successful getting it off the bowl and using luster dust on it.
But when I decorated the cake I ran out of room with all the other stuff i had on the top! (Check out my grandaughters ballerina cake). Anyhow, I was going to take a picture tp show you and I broke it when I set it down. (They are very fragile).
I'm up to trying it again....I think next time I'll plan the cake design a little better!

you can try making them from white chocolate too... not quite as fragile!

I did mine in gumpaste--not quite as fragile either.
