A restuarant I do a LOT of business with asked me tro make a fake cake for their lobby. I want to make a themed cake which reflects the restuarant. The restuarant is a really really nice restuarant with a modern flare. The menu has everything from sea food to steak and pasta. I am wanting to do at LEAST a 3 tier cake. With a 3-D chef hat as the topper. I want the cake to be modern and a little crazy. This cake has to be AWSOME!! I kinda have an idea what I am wanting to do I am just not sure how to put it all together

When you do the theme, I would stay away from putting fish and seafood on the cake .... if I walked in and saw a "Catfish Cake" sitting there, it woudln't be very appetizing to me! 
I think the chef hat would be great maybe have some pasta hanging off the side and some meat balls and the put some fist or shrimp something like that...and then kinda match the icing on the cake with the colors and modern feel of the restuarant. Good luck.
