I've been asked to do a wedding cake (in 30 days) and I'm not really sure what types of questions to ask so that I can provide the best cake ever.

I've been told that the bride wants a simple, elegant cake and they will probably use fresh flowers on the cake as the topper.

Depending on the types of flowers they want I am thinking of suggesting that they use edible gumpaste flowers.

What questions should I ask so that I get all of the necessary information?

TIA!

congratulations on your order!

I haven't had an order but I've done one for my sister's wedding. Some of the questions I would ask would be flavors, fillings, wedding colors (preferably with color swatches), servings, budget, fondant covered?, time of reception, when can you set the cake up.
