Not exactly but close?
I'm not Indian but married to an Indian guy.
I am mixed, including Native American (red Indian).
and I'm not in Austin, but in NJ.

PS: What part of India are you from?
Hubby is a Bangalore boy, so we speak Kannada at home and some Hindi.
We just got back from there only.

I got few Indian decorators here. But I am not in touch with them.

I am not Indian, but have some very close friends who are. I had the amazing opportunity to travel to India for a wedding about 10 years ago, at Christmastime, for a little over two weeks. It was the most amazing experience of my whole life. What a beautiful country you come from! I have never met such kind, friendly people, eaten such amazingly delicious food, or seen such beautiful countryside. And the clothing and jewelry is wonderful, too! It was such an honor to be involved in an Indian wedding, and I really loved having beautiful mehndi on my hands.. Indian food is one of my most favorites!!!
