Please help with pricing. I'll even take a rough estimate. Anybody, Somebody
I charge anywhere between $1.50-$2.75 / person depending on how specialized a cake they order. Such as buttercream versus fondant, is it a sheet cake or a tiered cake? Do you have to use any gumpaste flowers or just buttercream decorations? The more elaborate the cake the more you charge per person. Hope this helps
Both cakes are covered in fondant w/ filing. Only one is a painted cake. The other will have modeled sandals.
I would definately charge $2.75/person then. If your making sandals out of gumpaste or modeling choc. to go on top of the cake I would charge according to their size. For instance if they were true to life size sandals I would charge 25.00 because if they are flip flop style they are fairly easy to make. If they are a more detailed sandal go up another 10.00-20.00. If the sandals are miniatures they should be a minimal extra, such as $2.00 to $5.00.
