Does anybody know how to make Confectioner's glaze to glaze leaves & flowers? I understand it must be something clear that gives shine. The book has reference to it, but there is no recipe. I understand it must be sold ready made, but is there a way to make it at home?

Any clues?

Thank you ladies!

I had a recipe of this before. I tried it , but I didn't like it...
It is very simple..

Gelatin (unflavored)
Water
Corn Syrup

Gelatin and Water were same measurements (always)...three Table spoons and corn syrup is half of the Gelatin and water (1 1/2 T.)..
I was not happy that's why I bought the Lacquer Spray..at $27.00...
Expensive, but worth it..No hassle. icon_smile.gif Try making it, see if you like it.

Thank you, prettycake!
Corn Syrup, hm, I haven't seen it here, or saw it only once and do not remember whether it was light or dark. What about Glucose, I wonder?!

Why didn't you like it?

for the most part I think glucose and corn syrup are interchangeable.
