I have the KA classic (no not even classic plus) and I decided to tell my gramma about the KA they have at costco for 269. I ask for it for my birthday (August) she took me to get it today!!!!! I am so excited i can't even take it out of the box.

its silver... oohhh so pretty! I may just have to bake a cake!

funny thing. I said I was gonna "donate" my classic to my aunt who bakes alot but doesnt have one.. I think I need to keep her casue she's special to me (or am i just selfish?????? icon_evil.gif ) what if I need to make a bunch of cakes (fingers crossed) I mean u never know LOL

Congrats! I use mine nearly every day for something...pizza crust, cookies, icing, cake, bread...I wish I had an extra bowl and paddle, though.

You'll love it! I got mine for Mother's Day three years ago, and can't remember how I managed without it!

wow. I didnt even get notification of replies!

i love it.. I want to bake daily but I found and extra 5 pounds on my body.. Is that from baking?

the soft start feature has saved my counter from the numerous clouds of sugar that fall on it all the time

whoooooo!

I just made an 11x15 cake in the new KA without having to swithc to a mixing bowl! then I made a batch of butter cream with 2 cups of butter, 2cups of crisco and 4 pounds of sugar.. OH YEA.. I am in heaven.. You think 4 cups (1 quart) doesnt make a diff (at least I did) oh but it does icon_eek.gificon_biggrin.gif

Congratulations, join the club. I've had my KA for about 6 weeks now. Wait until you do a big batch of cookied dough without having to mix it by hand. Yeah!

congats!!! I'm so Jealous I want one I plan on getting the baby one but you make me want to wait a little longer for the upgrade.

And no 5 lbs does not come from eating cake, it comes from being CUTE!

Yay for you! Don't get rid of the old one! You can mix 2 things at once! Very handy if you do big orders. Also, you can use the old one for things like MMF and not risk hurting your baby!
