Can anyone give advice on how to bake a cake in a flower pot? Do I need to grease/flour/etc the sides? Thank you in advance for your advice!

I've never done this. But If I were to try, I'd grease and flour the sides for sure. I'm not sure how the clay will affect the temperature needed for your cake, and if it's a big pot, you may need a heating core. Anybody else?
