I'm making a strawberry-filled wedding cake that has to be transported just less than 3 hours. Would a whip cream cheese frosting or a regular cream cheese frosting survive that trip better? The bride doesn't want buttercream if possible.

Thanks for your help!

I don't know the answer to this, but I will give you a bump.
(Just so you know, a bump is when I reply so it sends your post back to the top of the list so people can see it on the homepage.)
I would like to start playing around with different frostings myself.
What is the difference between the two?

Whip cream cheese frosting is a cream cheese frosting with whipping cream instead of butter.

i would experiement with the recipes that you have available to you. But my thought is that regular cream cheese icing would be more stable.
