Hi everyone, in the 2005 wilton year book there is a tiered cake(blue) with rainbows going around the sides and bears randomly on the cake. I think its page 6 of the year book. They say to use color flow for the rainbow, but i have to transport this cake and i don't think the rainbows will stay in place. Any suggestions on how to make these rainbows and make them stay put. Thanks for your input

You could still do them out of royal or color flow and transport them seperately and put them on the cake when you get to the site.

Unless you are really brave, I agree with Michelle. I would put them on, onsite. I would be more nervous about breaking them than I would about them falling off.

I'm going to make a cake similar to that one for my daughter's second bday. She loves Carebears!

Post a pic when you are done! I can't wait to see it!

If you don't think you will be able to add the rainbows on site (which I recommend as well). Take lollipop sticks and attach them to the back of the rainbows with royal icing and very gently push the sticks into the cake. (make a couple extra in case of breakage)
