This was my MIL's take on a small gift for someone. She doesn't decorate but put this together with one of the cupcakes from her cupcake bouquet I made her.

I thought this would be so cute for a favor

that is really cute! would it be kind of expensive for favors? she may not decorate, but she is crafty!

I saw this really small pot at Walmart and though the same thing! Unfortunately i didn't have enough time or all the mom's in my life would have gotten one (darn orders! hehe)

ahhh that was so cute of her. and yes they would make really nice party favours.

These would be pretty inexpensive. The clay pot was from Michael's, I think about .59, Its not the smallest pot but 1 up from that, shred paper, small piece of florist foam, piece of skewer to attach cupcake to florist foam and then the cupcake

I got a pot at Joanns that's small enough to just sit the cupcake down into it. No need for skewers or anything!

I also love the small pots at Michaels to put my cupcakes in. I have one in the gallery and use it for my avitar. I put a folded paper towel in the bottom of the pot to get the height of the cupcake just right. I decorate the cupcake right in the pot to make life easy!
