Shipping costs are based on one of two things: space or weight, whichever is greater.

When you order lightweight stuff, like styrofoam or wicker, you will pay for the space it takes up more than you will pay for the weight of the item. WHen ordering dummy cakes, it's usually best to order more at once .... the overall shipping is lower per piece than it would be ordering one piece at a time. (If you order 10 pieces of dummy cakes, I'm positive your shipping won't be $140.)

I ordered from Taylor foam and got both the round set and the square set for under $40.00 total shipping and all. But if I had ordered just one-would have been like $20.00. Cheaper to order several at one time.
