Here is a pic of the cake, that my dear Husband and boys made me today. I had to work a half a day today, and when I came home they had the house all fixed up and this cake waiting for me. They know who to spell MOTHER, but my husband was playing a joke with me. But this cake made me feel real special. Lemon with buttercream. My husband even used my leveler to try to level the cake. SO sweet.....I just had to share!!!
Now that would make my mother's day!! What a gift to come home to a clean house and a yummy cake! You tell them I think they did a great job on it and it was so sweet of them to make it for you!! Jen
Priceless is right! The clean house alone would send me into a fit...but a cake to boot? Wow!!! Sounds like a wonderful family you have there.

Although he did help clean up the house today. that is so sweet, im a mother of small kids so im just starting to realize how much the home made gifts truly mean!
That's so cute, I wish my husband would make me a cake. He always says that he won't do them because they wouldn't be up to my standards. 
The reality is that he just doesn't like to cook, he knows how since his mother taught him to bake from scratch but he tries to pretend that he can't. 
Surely you know you were on their minds and in their hearts so very much! What a great thing to come home to. A lot of times, my family likes to TELL how they were going to do something but yours actually DID something! How sweet it is! How sweet they are and how sweet that cake is too!
