Hi all

I have a cake sittimg inm my kitchen but the guests that were supposed to coam have asked if they can come tomorrow instead. I do not know if the cake will last until tomorrow.

The filling which had the following in it was made Friday. It has been refridgerated since then.

1 3.4-ounce package instant vanilla pudding
¾ cup milk
¾ cup heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons Bailey's Irish Cream liquer

The cake is just a french vanilla cake so I think that part will be okay.

The other thing is that it is covered in the Chocolate Ganache 1 recipe from this site (http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-2116-69-Chocolate-Ganache-1.html)

So I guess I am worried more about the filling and the ganche frosting. Do you think it will last until tomorrow evening? It will be refridgerated.

Thanks!

Before I got to the end of your post I was thinking just stick it in the fridge. It should be fine in the fridge. Sounds yummy!

The ganache is doing a great job keeping your cake sealed from room air. And refrigerating it won't hurt it. What I would do is take it out of the fridge at least an hour before your guests arrive, as the ganache might sweat a little as it warms to room temp.
