5 cakes in 6 hours!!!! Yes, I decorated 5 cakes in 6 hours...Two 3-tier wedding cakes, One 2-tier groom's cake, One 2-tier going away cake (decorated like my Lone Star cake--blue jeans and bandana) and a BC and fondant baby shower cake.

Thank God for a great assistant...this was the 1st time for her helping me and first time for cakin' for her. She kept me in frosting, made my candy tiles, dipped strawberries and cut out fondant dots. I kept apologizing because I tend to get a bit bossy when doing wedding cakes.

Now maybe I will remember to carry my schedule book with me every day to decreast the chance of over-booking.

hehe I am bossy when it comes to caking too. When my BF and I made the pisces cake in my pics she cut out all the waves and I wasn't happy so I rerolled the fondant and did it myself. I still keep apologising over that one. But I get an idea in my head and it needs to be just right! The flip side is that she came over to do her own cake, and I kept right out of it, and she finally told me she was happier when I was taking charge!
