Buttercream Question On How Long Will It Last

Hi
I just made a buttercream receipe with butter and crisco and milk. Does anyone know how long this icing will last kept in the refridgerator? Im decorating cupcakes for tomorrow (mothers day) but i will prob have leftover and wanted to know how long i can keep it. Any info is appreciated

I've kept mine on the counter for a couple of days, so it should keep quite some time in the 'frig.

I've tried to keep mine for a couple of weeks but..DH and DS seem to find it!! icon_biggrin.gif

Yep, weeks. It really won't spoil... more likely it will absorb fridge odors over time. If you won't use it in the next 6 weeks (or 2 if you have a stinky fridge icon_razz.gif) then go ahead and pop it in the freezer.
