I'm doing a 3d mold made of rice crispies that I have drying at the moment. I was wondering do you frost them like a cake and then cover with fondant? Or do you just put the fondant directly on the rice crispies?

To my knowledge you put a layer of icing on then the fondant. Could you please give me the recipe for rice krispies? Mine isn't mould-able ( sp?) Thanks. Hopethis helps!

When making rice crispy moldable you don't need to use butter in the recipe.

The recipe I use is as follows:

3 tablespoons peanut butter
10 oz. marshmellows
6 cups rice crispies.

melt the peanutbutter in large sauce pan. add marshmellows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in 6 cups of rice crispies. Mix until well blended and put into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Cool, cut and enjoy.
