Ok.. so my customer called me this morning and told me she left her "transport" box at the beauty shop which had closed, could I come up with something for her. I had originally told all of my CC bouquet clients to bring someone with them to hold it on the ride... but then I got to thinking... I have those free priority mail boxes from the Post office that I mail stuff for Ebay... so I closed and sealed one, cut a hole in the top of it, and placed my pail down in it... voila..... so it doesn't move... then I was thinking covering it to keep it sanitary but not damaging it and I remembered seeing those clear plastic domes that go on top of those black plate things, usually make sandwich trays or veggie trays on them.... and I thought why couldn't you just buy some of the tops and place them on it with tape around the edges of the box... maybe hide the priority mail stuff or get cheap boxes somewhere else... I am attaching a photo of my pail in the box, but I don't have a plastic dome.... just thought!

I'lll bet you could stick that in a smaller box and then still that whole shabang (box with hole, and bouquet) down into a larger box and close up the top????

I agree with you... I think they thing that is working is that it is a shallow box that can catch the bottom of the pot and is keeping it sturdy... plus it was a free box for me so I tried and it worked... I will have to see how she gets home with it and make sure it really works... I see this working for sitting in the floor of the car best so it won't slide on a slick seat!

How about a food tent like this.

Of course you have to measure the height of bouquet after they been place in box. This does not give height directions only the width.

very nice, we could do the tent like we do cake stands, require a deposit.... I spoked with the lady who transported hers home in the priority box and she said it was perfect... it wiggled a bit, but not enough to hurt the bouquet.. huge relief!
