I just won a full size wilton wonder mold on ebay for $1.25 but it is missing the metal rod that goes in the middle. Is there anywhere I can get a replacement one or is there something else I can use?
Thanks!

Try Wilton and see if they sell just the core.

Hi,

Go to Wilton's website (www.wilton.com) and they have them in their online store. I think it's under baking accessories. HTH

Are you near a cake supply store? The one near me sells sever kind of heating cores, including one that fits the wonder mold.

Will a metal flower nail work? I thought I had seen someone mention it before..

The flower nail might be too short. IIRC the metal rod for the wonder mold is much longer than a flower nail. You might also have leakage issues if you use a flower nail.
