Making White Cake Into Chocolate:)

Hello all, I sure could use some help with this. A lady at work wants some cupcakes for a baby shower and a mini cake. She only wants 12 white cupcakes and 12 chocolate cupcakes. Well I can't see making a whole batch of cake batter for 12 of this and 12 of that, so what could I add to a white mix to make it chocolate if I can do this. Thanks so muchicon_smile.gif

I made a neopolitian cake where I added choc. syrup to the white batter. It tasted like chocolate.

Thanks a bunch, I thought about doing that but wasn't sure if it would work and hated to mess up the battericon_smile.gif

Add one cup of cocoa powder and 1/4 cup chocolate syrup and you have yummy tasting chocolate cake. If you need to thin the batter a little bit due to adding the cocoa, just use chocolate milk, and now you really have good tasting chocolate cake. icon_biggrin.gif

I did this last week: added cocoa powder, melted chocolate squares, and chocolate pudding mix. It was great! icon_biggrin.gif
