I have a horseshoe cake for a grooms cake next weekend. I was SURE I had the pan...but I don't! I am wondering if I could cut a horseshoe shape from a 10 or 12" round cake?? Has anyone tried this and what do you thing??? icon_smile.gif Thank you!!

I have never done this but I don't see why you can't. If you cut it from a round, the horseshoe will be more rounded. To achieve the more elongated look of a horseshoe...like the wilton horseshoe pan, I would cut from a sheet cake. Or if you live in portland oregon you can borrow mine!!! -rhondie
