is it ok to add color to cream cheese frosting? still a newbie here so i don't really know a whole lot.

I just frosted my very first cake in cream cheese frosting and made roses with cream cheese frosting. Turned out perfectly! It's the last picture I uploaded with yellow and red roses if you want to take a look for color ability with the frosting!

I color it all the time, but I use the crusting cream cheese frosting.

I used the crusting cream cheese recipe from here as well. It is delicious!!!!!!

I don't however, care for the way it smooths. I waited the allotted time and it was just horrible. I did the best I could and no one probably would have noticed but I sure did. Thank goodness for cornelli lace!
