This may be a stupid question but, what colors would you say this cake is? My client wants it the exact same color, but what if it looks differently on her screen than it does mine?

I am thinking white and ivory???? What do you think?

Thanks. I don't want to screw up!

I agree.......ivory icing with white bows, and dots........I think it's the lighting that gives it that sort of bluish tinge.....I don't think the "actual" cake was that color though......I def. think you've got it white and ivory...I would say that to the bride though just to be on the safe side!!

I see it as a purplish/silver icing with a purplish bow. I think the base looks silver so that's what I'm basing the cake color on. At least that's how my monitor makes it look.

I think it's ivory with white - I think it's bad lighting that's making it have a bluish/purplish/silverish tinge. I would definitely say ivory and white to the bride to make sure that's what she's seeing, and if not, then you can go by what she's "seeing"!

I think ivory cakes with white bows but I see silvery/grayish cakes with light purple bows.

I agree, the cake looks silver and the bows and dots look like a light lavender.

I would ask for specific color samples that she wants. There are so many shades of color, and that way you know exactly what color we're seeing.

I see it as silver cake with a lavender/lilac color bow and same color dots. This is a tricky photo, I would definitely ask the bride how she sees the colors. It is a very pretty cake.

Ha Ha - isn't it terrible!!! My client says grey cake (I think she might mean silver) with mauve or lilac bows. I asked her if she had a paper copy of it so I can be sure to get the colors right.
