I made a batch of MMF and it started out great during the first 3 or 4 minutes of kneading but then went crazy. more crisco, more sugar, more crisco, more sugar...
Now it is brittle and does not stretch at all but it does not feel dry. Can this be saved???????

I would add more Crisco to add elasticity and knead some more, you can microwave first for like 15 secs, then add the crisco and let it rest. HTH, let me know.

If that doesn't work, add some glycerine to it to give it some stretch.

It could simply be too dry and need more water. Try nuking it, and kneading in a few drops of water at a time.
