ive left my cakes with bc (pretty similar recipe as BC dream) for days

cant help ya with the colors

Never done it myself, but I've heard to add a little meringue powder to your icing to keep the colors from bleeding. I would think it would say on the container how much and so forth. HTH.

I made buttercream dream earlier this week on Tues, I think, and just left it out, and I ate a big helping last night, and I didn't die or puke or anything! icon_lol.gif But knowing how long you could leave it out or refrigerate it and still be able to use it on someone else's cake would be very helpful!!

I have been wondering this too. I'm wanting to try some cakes and love this recipe for icing. I can only sell things that do not need to be refridgerated and this may solve my problem in the future.
