Can You Freeze Buttercream Icing????

Can you freeze buttercream icing made with:

1 cup buttercream
1 cup crisco
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
4 cups icing sugar

and for how long and what is the consistency like after?

Absolutely! I have done this many times and have never had a problem.

I wouldn't leave it in there for more than a couple of months. The texture doesn't really change from my experiences.

Hmmm, I didnt know that. Can you freez cream cheese buttercrem, the crusting recipe that is on this site?

I've never tried, but I don't see why you couldn't. If you test it out be sure to let us all know how it goes.
