I have a request for a cake. She would like me to do something with a man with a bald head. I only found one on this site and do not know how it was done. Any suggestions would be great. I need to make the cake tomorrow.

Can you do a FBCT? Find some clipart...maybe this. Do you know anything else about him? Is he supposed to be unhappy about his hair?

I like that photo and do have a cake shop that could do the transfer for me. I also found a picture in our gallery http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&meta=search&search=bald%20head&cat=0&pos=0&search=bald%20head but there are no instructions. I do not have a round cake pan, but thought I could use a rounded metal bowl. But how would I do the ears and nose?

Oh I forgot to say. Yes, he has a real good attitude about his bald head. He lways make jokes about it himself.

the ears and nose are just piped on......I would say they probably used a tip 12 and just piped a kind of backwards S for the ears and a couple blobs to form a nose..........have you tried to pm the person that made the cake??? I'm sure they'd be more than happy to help you!!! Looks like it was probably half of a sports ball pan.

That picture is CUTE! Just use a large round tip and apply the icing directly on. nose- large ball in the middle and 2 smaller balls on the sides. Draw the ears on. I love this picture and it is very easy! Give it a try.

Do you think it would work using the rounded metal bowl? And should I use the heating rod in the center?

Thanks for the comments. It was so much fun making this cake. And it has really boosted my sales. Everyone was asking who made it, and I was able to hand out a lot of business cards.

I am glad you asked, I was going to try to this cake for my husband for Sunday. It is his birthday, anniversary, and fathers day. We always aggravating him, because he is getting thin on top. I already had this picture saved to do. So thanks to you for asking how to do it, because I was going to. Also I love the way your cake came out too, hope mine is half that good. I'll keep you posted.

I love this cake! So what kind of pan did you use and how did you make the nose?

Thanks for the compliment, this cake was so much fun. I used a rounded metal bowl with heating rod in the center. I smoothed the cake using the Viva papertowel method. I made the nose with tip 12, heavy pressure to start then tapered, then shaped it with my finger dipped in cornstatch.
