I was so excited last week... I had a girl ready to buy my bakery!
I couldn't stop the excitement of thinking about doing something else... like not working for a few months and going to vacation spots. aaahhh
But this week I found out that I am still the proud owner!
Sometimes I was thinking I was making a huge mistake all while being happy to get out! Man what a roller coaster ride I was on. And it felt good!
Unfortunately the bank wouldn't give her money and I was even going to finance some of it for her. The reason was because she didn't have any experience in this type of business. She bakes cakes at home and works at a bank. I was going to have to stay a while and train her to do cakes. Oh well!
We have been so extra busy this year. After I was looking at the sales I realized I must be crazy for thinking about selling! Anyhow this has made me realize I have to have a vacation!! So sad... I was so desperate for a vacation that I almost sold my birth-right... Like Esau and Jacob-ahahah

I am just in the process of opening...too bad we aren't closer! I am in the U.P. of Michigan...WAAYYY up north! I pray everything goes the way you need it too...your work is great!
Alright sounds like you need to join me and the others on CC who are burned out and are now on imagination beach. YOU REALLY NEED A VACATION!!!! Can you block out 1 week sometime within the next few months just to go somewhere fun. Make it a good vacation! Even just 3 days off with a stay at a hotel just outside of town would probably work. You need a cake break!

For this reason I just raised prices, I have only been going from month to month for the last years, this year I had to raise $$. With the new plan I will be able to take multiple vacations.
