Have any of you tried doubling the above recipe from Baking 911? I love this cake but am hesitant to double any scratch recipe without knowing for sure - I'd rather just mix it twice. The "Ask Sara" feature is down for maintenance on that website right now, so I can't ask the author... Thanks!

I would just make the two batches like you said--mix it twice.
