Other than plain old buttercream, what would make a good filling for lemon cake?

cream cheese frosting makes a great filling for lemon cake.

I just made a lemon cake and filled it with rasberry cream cheese frosting. I just mixed rasberry jello into my cream cheese frosting recipe. It was so good!!!

What if you use lemon curd for the filling or would that be too much lemon? icon_confused.gif
