I see the recipe for it in Toba's book here and was wondering if anyone uses it and do you like it?

I have never heard of this. Would you mind sharing the recipe?

I have - it does work well. there isn't really a need for a recipe - it is just cake crumbs mixed with thinned icing. you use it to fill in gaps/low areas on the sides of the cake.

When I make it, I mix my filling, icing and crumbs and some milk to thin. It works really well. I use it when making 3D cakes, because of all the crumbaly (Not too sure if that is even a word) anywho.. sides. It really holds everything together nicely.
