Did you see it? I can't believe the cake is sooooo plain! icon_surprised.gif If you haven't seen it (it was on "E.T." and "Insider Edition"), there was two cakes - one is shaped number 6 and the other one shaped number 0 - all white frosting. That's it. I think he deserves a designer or fancy cake. They should hire one of us here to do his cake, you think?!!! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

Or maybe let Toba Garrett make him a nice one, since money is no object to Hollywood people. icon_smile.gif

It's so funny you should mention this--when I saw the cake, I thought, "How boring can you get?" icon_rolleyes.gif I didn't think it was done very well, either.

This man has had an incredible career with so many notable moments--the cake designer should have had so many ideas that their head would have exploded.

I swear, if I was asked to do a cake for someone like Sly Stallone and then told, "Oh, and just do a white iced 6 and 0.", I would have first suggested something much more interesting. If the party planner stuck with the 6-0, I would have refused to do the cake.

I haven't seen it but man, that sounds BORING! Hell, my grandma is turning 80 next month and I'm brainstorming what I want to do. I want it to be elegant and fondant as I need a lot of practice. Besides, Grandma only gets a photo since she lives on the other side of the country. icon_sad.gif

Anyone seen a photo online of this cake? I did a quick search and came up with squat.

How disappointing to only have a plain 6 and an 0! Considering his career in films this should have been a very cool cake to make what with "Rocky" and "Rambo", etc. My 2 cents.

I know. I would have incorporated either Rambo or Rocky myself...or both. icon_razz.gif
