Hi,
i am about to make 2 13"round cakes (2 pans) and the recipe requires 18 eggs and 9 cups of flour. can i do this in one batch in my kitchenaid mixer? i have the smaller mixer, not the large one with the arm things on the side...
thanks!

I have the same KA you have. It is the 5 quart. So far your recipe is at over 2 quarts of flour and I don't know how many quarts of eggs. Plus all your other ingredients. I would cut it in half if it was me. That machine is a pain to clean when it gets over filled, especially with bread dough. I really crawls up in that crevice.

can you get the 2 13" pans in your oven together?
i would half the recipe and do one pan at a time, that way batter is not sitting in the other pan waiting to go in the oven.
