Help!! My Kids Won't Let Me Decorate!!!

I read some of the responses to my husband and he replied with an emphatic "YES!!" to indydebi and Narie in particular... and then a long conversation ensued. You guys are so right - I am not at their disposal and my girls need to go entertain themselves. And c'mon, Mommy needs to do what makes her happy!
I really really like the ideas about getting them to decorate their own cakes, but honestly my kids are trying to stuff icing and sugar in their faces every second... I'm worried about how much they'd consume.
But we'll see... I'll make things available for them to play with, and then they're on their own. Wish me luck - I'll let you know how it goes! lol!!
