can any body tell me what is lacy effect and directions as to how to make it. icon_rolleyes.gif

It's called cornelli lace. You use a tube #1 (some use #2) and use a free style squiggly motion. The ends never touch. I start at a corner & just pipe. There is a guide in the Wilton books showing this.

always work in an "S" motion, front wards and backwards
