Brown Frosting Help...

brown frosting.. help! i'm trying to color my buttercream frosting w/wiltons brown but it isn't so pretty.. i'm doing a shower cake and the bride, of course, has pink and brown colors.. any tips??

I use cocoa for light brown, and mix green and red to get dark brown.

Buy canned chocolate frosting and add some to your bc until the color is right.

Have you ever made a whipped ganache frosting...it is where you make a ganache 50% cream and 50% dark chocolate and infuse them together and then let it cool....once it has cooled overnight you can then put it in a mixed bowl and whip it up so that it becomes a frosting...

It's a nice chocolatey frosting when you need one...
