Wilton sells a guitar shaped pan. I have seen it in my local Michael's, as well as on Ebay.

I made one recently, and I made a large round cake and a square cake and stuck them together and then cut away parts to make the right shape. I had to cut away some of the square cake to make it fit together. It was pretty easy to do though...it was the decorating that took forever. Theres a pic in my photos if you want to see. It's too big to post.

Good luck!

When I made mine (in my photos) I used a 13x9 that I cut out the shape in. I mostly winged it. I also used the mini loaf pans to make the handle.

I too find it more economical to just carve the needed shape from a suitable size cake, rather than buy another pan. I also use templates that I make from the computer then blow them up to the size I need. The rest of the cake? THink "cakeballs!"
