I am going to try the MMF for a bridal shower cake in a few weeks. The party is in a park and I was wondering how well fondant holds out in heat. I live in Southern Cal. and right now it is 87 outside. This shower is in June so I am wondering how that will be. Any info for me?

Fondant holds up pretty well in heat. However, the icing underneath may start to melt. In general, cakes and heat don't mix very well (just like cakes and cars, lol) so I would advise keeping it inside as long as possible. Here's a bump for you so hopefully someone else can give their experience!

I live in Fresno.... let me say July (110) weddings are not my favorite thing! I ONLY do fondant in the summertime. I use only crisco bc underneath and it holds up great. So, you should be fine. At least that has been my experience.
